Local Branches and Members

RFSU has it’s headquarters in Stockholm and 17 local branches spread all over the country. Some are quite small, engaging a handfull devoted members, others are rather large organisations with their own employees.

Being an non-profit organisation, our members are very important for us. The volunteers/members work locally with peer-education and sexuality education in schools. Other activities are seminars, movie nights, advocacy towards local MP:s and local media and handing out free condoms at night clubs etcetera.

A big challenge for RFSU is an initiative from the Congress to strengthen RFSU locally. Two persons are employed specifically to work with the the creation of new local branches. We are also working hard to to engage new individual members who could get involved in the important work of RFSU’s prioritised areas and RFSU’s broader issues nationally and internationally.
